The Challenge: Polyga’s industrial 3D scanners (Carbon X, S1 Pro, L6) are high-precision instruments with complex technical specifications. The challenge was to transform raw, fragmented engineering data into standardized sales assets that were technically accurate for engineers yet commercially compelling for global procurement.

The Solution: I adopted a "Hybrid Systems" approach, merging product strategy with rigorous Information Architecture. I deconstructed engineering specs and rebuilt them into a unified, hierarchical design system that prioritized technical clarity over decoration, ensuring the global sales team had consistent tools to explain complex hardware logic.

Key Deliverables (System):

  • Standardized Technical Infrastructure: I engineered a suite of technical brochures and spec sheets (Carbon X, S5, S1 Pro) using a modular design system to ensure data consistency across the entire product line.
  • Information Architecture (IA) Redesign: I restructured complex data tables and technical specs into a hierarchical format, allowing procurement officers to quickly identify mission-critical performance metrics.
  • Global Sales Enablement Assets: I developed a library of standardized assets that synchronized engineering data with buyer-journey objectives, reducing sales friction for international distributors.

Results (Architect Metrics):

  • Operational Standardization: Successfully unified the global technical narrative for the entire product line, eliminating data discrepancies between engineering and sales.
  • Increased Sales Velocity: Provided the technical foundation for the global sales team to explain 3D scanning logic more effectively, contributing to the S1 Pro and Carbon X becoming flagship units.
  • Reduced Technical Friction: By prioritizing information design, these assets decreased the time required for engineering leads to validate hardware performance during the pre-sale phase.
